When Hotness Meets Fabulousity on a Clothing Tag

Let’s start this from the lower end of the curve, shall we?
Ever since Missy Elliot campaigned for Adidas, I seriously think nobody rocked it her way.
Not even Paris Hilton for FILA.
The worth-noting newcomers are Ed Westwick for K-swiss,
and my current favorite Leighton Meester for Reebok.

Now let’s proceed to the more heavy stuff.
Victoria Beckham nailed Marc Jacobs campaign, with poses like her coming out of a shopping bag and gift box. HOT, I may say.
Gucci had Drew Barrymore once, to promote its jewelery line. Err…not so well done.
Then, it is Rihanna for Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection, Gucci’s first UNICEF ad campaign. Frida Giannini thinks she’s edgy and a perfect representation of modern woman.
Next thing I know is Madonna, the Queen of Pop, doing advertising for one of the most prestigious labels in the fashion industry: Louis Vuitton. Marc Jacobs himself was moved by Madonna’s concert, about what she had to say and her energy.
When I saw the ad, it was a total BAMM. Dude, seriously, Louis Vuitton and Madonna? What else can top that?
Maybe Chanel and Ms Aguilera, now that she keeps getting better? ;)

If you ask me which one is best, I would say the one that is sustainable.
And I’m pretty sure alot of you will agree with me, nothing beats Victoria Secret’s Angels after all these years.
They all have pretty different demographic targets. Yet, strategy-wise, one Rihanna may be hot, but who can resist Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes all in one packet? :)
